- Build the booking as usual. If the price is above the limit, the search card shows the usual out-of-policy marker.
- On the payment page a "Booking exceeds the policy limit" block appears with the breakdown: how much the company pays and by which method, how much you top up.
- Choose a personal card and tick the confirmation checkbox for the split. Both are required — otherwise the pay button stays disabled.
- Confirm. Both charges go through at once and the booking is confirmed.
No saved personal card? The block has an "Add card" link — you add it in the wallet without losing the cart or the booking context.
Not ready to top up? Don't tick the checkbox — the button stays "Send for approval" and the request goes to the approver like any over-limit booking; if approved, the company pays the full amount. Or use "Cancel and search within budget" to return to search filtered by the policy limit.
