Duty of Care: see where your travellers are and contact them in a risk zone

Last updated on Sep 28, 2026

The Duty of Care page shows a live risk map of current events and travel advisories next to your company's active trips. You can see at a glance who is travelling, who is in a risk zone, and message everyone in an affected region in a few clicks.

Where to find it

Main sidebar Travel → Duty of Care (/app/duty-of-care).

What you see

  • Directors, Travel managers and TMC admins see the whole company. The page is titled "Duty of Care — Live Risk Map".
  • Travellers see their own trips only. The page is titled "My trips — Live Risk Map".

The page has:

  • Key figures: Active alerts, Critical (24h), Affected travelers (est.) and Countries advisory ≥ 3.
  • Map with an Events / Advisories toggle.
  • Filters: Severity, Alert types, Country. Click Reset to clear them.
  • Active alerts panel, sorted by Most recent or By severity.
  • Your travelers panel: how many people are currently on trips and how many are in a risk zone. Switch on Affected only to narrow the list, or click Show on map.

Click an item to see its details:

  • Traveller: Current trip, Trip itinerary, Risk exposure, Weather at destination, Open order, and Reach out by email.
  • Country: Risk score, Advisory, Events in this country.
  • Alert: the event details and Contact all in region.

Click Refresh to reload the data.

How to message travellers in a region

  1. Open an alert and click Contact all in region, or open a country and click Contact in region.
  2. In the "Contact travelers in region" dialog, pick a Channel.
  3. Pick a Protocol (a ready-made message from your Duty of Care settings), or choose Custom message.
  4. Check the Message template.
  5. Choose recipients. Use Select all / Unselect all if you need to.
  6. Click Send. You'll see "Travellers notified: {count}".

Good to know

  • The channels in the dialog are the ones switched on under Settings → Trip settings → Duty of Care → Risk alerts → Notification channels: Email, Push and SMS.
  • Push is offered when the protocol you picked includes a push message. It arrives as a notification in the platform, and in Telegram for travellers who linked it.
  • SMS goes to US and Canadian phone numbers.
  • Each recipient shows a hint if they can't be reached on the chosen channel: "no email", "no phone" or "non US/CA".
  • Travellers see the map for their own trips. Messaging travellers is for Directors, Travel managers and TMC admins.
