Flight results show more than price and times. You can see each airline's alliance, safety audit status and onboard Wi-Fi, filter by loyalty programme or connection airport, and check exactly which travel policy rule a fare breaks.
Where to find it
Flights search page. Run a search and the results list appears with the filter chips above it.
How to see airline facts on a flight
- Search for flights.
- Expand a flight card.
- Under each flight number you see, where known:
- the airline's alliance: Star Alliance, SkyTeam or oneworld;
- IOSA with a green shield when the airline is registered on the IATA Operational Safety Audit, which many travel policies require;
- Wi-Fi for that flight number: Starlink, Starlink likely or No Wi-Fi. This is based on the aircraft that recently flew the number, so it can change if the airline swaps the aircraft.
- The card also links to the airline's own site for baggage size and weight limits.
How to filter results
- Airlines → Alliance: show only flights with airlines from the alliances you pick. The number next to each alliance shows how many results match.
- Extra:
- IOSA safety audit: every airline on the itinerary is IOSA-registered.
- Online check-in: every airline on the itinerary offers online check-in.
- Starlink Wi-Fi: appears when at least one result has Starlink.
- Earns miles with: pick a loyalty programme to see flights where at least one airline earns miles in it.
- Stops → Connect in: pick the airport you want to change planes at. The chip then shows "via" and the airport code.
How to see why a fare is out of policy
- On an out-of-policy fare, look for the red Violates policy badge.
- Hover the small (i) icon in the badge, or tap it on mobile.
- You see one line for each rule the fare breaks, for example "Price is above the cheapest fare by more than allowed", "Fare has no baggage included" or "Airline is not allowed by the travel policy". If both legs break the same rule, it is listed once.
- Choose a compliant fare, or continue with this one if your company's policy lets you send it for approval.
Good to know
- Alliance, IOSA, Wi-Fi and loyalty information comes from public sources and may be out of date. Treat it as a guide.
- An alliance or loyalty programme filter matches when any airline on the itinerary qualifies. IOSA and online check-in must apply to every airline on the itinerary.
- The Violates policy badge appears for travellers whose company has a travel policy.
- When you search for a cabin class, such as First or Business, you get only fares that are actually in that cabin. Lower-cabin fares are not mixed in under a higher-cabin label, and the "Best choice" suggestion also stays in the cabin you searched.
FAQ
Why does a fare say "Violates policy"? Your company's travel policy has a rule this fare breaks. Tap the (i) next to the badge to see which one.
Can I still book an out-of-policy fare? It depends on your company's policy. The booking either goes to an approver, or it is blocked and you choose another option.
The badge has no (i) icon. Why? The icon appears when the reason is known. Run a fresh search, because results are kept for a short time.
I searched First class and got nothing. Not every route has first-class fares. Try Business or other dates.
Why do I see fewer results than on an airline's site? We show only fares in the cabin class you picked.
The Wi-Fi label says "Starlink likely". What does that mean? The aircraft that recently flew this flight number often had Starlink, but not every time. The airline can change the aircraft.
