Travelling to a town, resort or office that has no airport? Type the place name in the flight search and Travel Code suggests the closest airports with their distance. If the place is hard to find, Robert, our AI assistant, can look it up for you.

Flights search → the From and To fields.
How to find airports near a place
- In From or To, type the name of the town or place (at least 3 letters, or 2 characters in Chinese, Japanese or Korean). You can type it in any language.
- If the place has no airport of its own, you see "{place}: nearest airports" with up to 5 airports, their distance and country. One may be marked Main airport.
- Pick an airport and continue your search.
How to use "Ask Robert"
- If nothing matches, you see "Nothing found for" your text and an Ask Robert button.
- Press Ask Robert. You see "Robert is looking for" your text while he searches.
- Pick one of the nearest airports Robert returns.
- If Robert can't identify the place either, check the spelling or try a nearby city.
Good to know
- Distances are in kilometres, or in miles if your account uses the US date format.
- When the From field is empty, you may see Near you with up to 3 airports close to your current location.
- Once a place has been found, it is suggested straight away in later searches.
FAQ
Can I type the place name in my own language? Yes. The search works in any language.
Robert didn't find my place. What now? Check the spelling, or type a larger town nearby.
Why do I see "Near you" suggestions? They are airports close to where you are right now, shown when the From field is empty.
