Every expense is charged to a cost center, just like an order. Usually it is filled in for you.
Where to find it
Expenses → Add expense → the Cost center field. On an existing expense, the same field in its details.
How it works
- When you add an expense, the Cost center field is filled in with your default cost center.
- If this expense belongs to another cost center, for example a client project, pick it from the list.
- Like orders, an expense keeps the cost center it was filed with, even if your department or default cost center changes later.
FAQ
