The Rates tab under Expense Policy → Per diem is a reference of every official rate, with search by city or country and a filter by source.
What each rate shows
- How the daily amount breaks down: lodging and meals separately, a single rate, or a partial-day rate.
- The date the rate takes effect.
- The date the table was last updated.
Who can see this tab
Every employee. Looking up the allowance for a particular city is routine and needs no administrator rights. Only the director, top manager and accountant can change the calculation settings.
When a city has no rate
The platform first looks for an exact city match, and if there is none it falls back to the country-wide rate. If that is missing too, you'll see a "no rate" message — we don't substitute a neighbouring city's figure. Add the destination to your own policy on the Your policy tab.
