Personal Trip: Payment

Last updated on Aug 12, 2026

A personal trip is paid with a personal bank card or crypto. Company methods — the company balance, invoice and corporate card — are unavailable by definition: it's a personal trip, so company money doesn't participate. Add-ons (baggage, seat, insurance) are paid with the same personal method. Corporate prices are kept — booking is on the same platform with the same fares.

If the company should pay, switch the mode off and book it as a work trip.

For company admins

The mode is available only when the company allows personal payment methods: director → the legal-entity payment profile → allow personal cards ("personal profiles"). It's the same flag that allows paying with a personal card. If a company hasn't allowed personal cards, there's nothing to pay with in the mode, so the toggle isn't shown at all. The permission is re-read on every request — turning it off returns everyone to business-trip mode immediately, turning it back on restores it. Crypto has its own separate setting in the payment profile.
