Trip Names in History

Last updated on Aug 17, 2026

Trips are now named like "Trip 17.08.2026 #5442" — a date and a trip number.

Previously the name showed a service in brackets (e.g. a hotel). With several services in one trip that was misleading, and you couldn't find a trip by it. The date and number identify a trip unambiguously for the employee, the approver and support alike.

  • One service in the trip? Its name is shown next to the number too — so you don't have to open the trip to recall which hotel or flight it is.
  • Where's the trip number? It matches the number in the cart page URL (…/basket?tripId=5442) and appears in the trip name on the approvals page, in the discussion panel and in history.
  • What's the date? It's the trip's date recorded in the system — it doesn't shift when the last service was added, and it's the same everywhere: the approvals page, history and notifications.
  • Contacting support? Just give the number and date — e.g. "Trip 17.08.2026 #5442". The trip is found instantly.

Still have questions? Message us in the support chat or at support@travel-code.com — include the trip number and date.
