Flight watch with Robert: get alerts about delays and cancellations

Last updated on Sep 28, 2026

Robert can watch a flight for you and let you know if it is delayed or cancelled, so you hear about it early and can act.

Where to find it

  • Ask in any Robert chat (/app/robert).
  • Manage your watched flights in the Robert sidebar under Tasks.

How to ask Robert to watch a flight

  1. Open Robert and write, for example: "Track flight BA2490 on 3 October for delays."
  2. Robert confirms, and a task card appears in the chat.
  3. Keep the notification "My flight is delayed or cancelled" switched on in your notification settings, so the alert reaches you.

What you get

  • An alert such as "Flight BA2490 is delayed 45 min" or "was cancelled", in the bell in Travel Code and by email, Telegram or Slack, following your notification settings.
  • Opening the alert takes you to Robert with the details.
  • Depending on your automation level, the alert also includes up to 3 alternative flights within your travel policy, or a note that a support agent is handling the rebooking. Short delays below your company's threshold are reported without alternatives.

How to see, pause or stop a watched flight

  1. Switch the sidebar to Robert and open Tasks. The screen lists what Robert is running for you under Active.
  2. Click Pause to pause the watch, and Resume to continue.
  3. Click Stop (the X) to end it. You can also use Pause, Resume and Stop on the task card in the chat.

Automation level

In Robert, open Tools → Flight disruptions to choose what Robert does when a watched flight is disrupted: Tell me, Find options or Hand to agent. Your company sets the highest level allowed, and levels above it are shown as "Above your company limit". Robert never books, cancels or pays on its own. See Robert automation for flight disruptions.

Good to know

  • To check what Robert is watching, ask "What are you watching for me?" in any chat.
